winter is over

long time, no post here; I'll stop working at the news site, it takes me too much time and distracts my attention from other matters I find more important; my application for that grant was rejected; I was not very bothered - I saw that they had no serious academic criteria for selection when I was there for the interview.

I teach Critical Thinking and a course on Wittgenstein this semester (in Romanian); both courses are new for me, the second one is, in addition, sort of challenging; Wittgenstein himself would be against the attempt to present his view for a popular audience;

I still light up a cigarette now and then, but I consider myself a non-smoker; I don't think I am addicted to tobacco anymore, that is.
